Master French bow maker
Claude Thomassin
Violin bow for sale. He is considered one of the greatest bow makers of the 20th century.

The bow is stamped C. Thomassin a Paris and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Pierre Guillaume, a world-renowned authority on bow appraisal.

■ History and Background
This bow was selected and purchased by a violinist in Europe. I myself have actually played it for about a year and have not experienced any playing issues. I am now selling it to reorganize my collection.

■ Tone and Playability
From the tip to the frog,
it has a very comfortable feel that smoothly grips the strings,
and responds quickly to the player's touch.

It draws out the instrument's natural resonance with rich overtones,
producing a lustrous and elegant tone,
a truly high-quality bow characteristic of Thomassin.

■ Condition
As this is an antique bow, there are minor signs of wear due to age and use, but it has been used without any problems for normal playing purposes.

For details, please refer to the photos and the contents of the Guillaume certificate. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask in advance.
